New Mexico offers its visitors an array of attractive tourist destinations within the state. Santa Fe: The city is the capital of New Mexico and is located in the northern Rio Grande Valley at the southern end of the Rocky Mountains. The nearest pine forest adds the beauty to the region and is famous for the world renowned Santa Fe Opera.
